For the second entry in our panellist deep dive series we’ll be taking a deeper look into the background of Rebecca Bull, Founder and Owner of My HR Hub, and her thoughts on the Creative Coalition Festival 2020.
My HR Hub was created by Rebecca Bull, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Business, HR and German Masters Graduate from Nottingham Business School in 2016. Rebecca has over 25 years’ HR and Business Management experience and has helped many businesses – including FMCG’s, family businesses, multiple selling/start up’s, fast growths and global household names and Creative Industries, such as Games Workshop and Speedo International – turn their workplaces into people focused, compliant, engaging, great places to work.
My HR Hub’s business model was the first of its kind in the UK and in 2019, a further venture, My HR Club was launched, this was the first UK wide HR Club for those working in HR roles and has evolved to be a low cost, remote, comprehensive HR offering for all small businesses and Charities.
Rebecca’s hard work and passion won her the coveted East Midlands Women in Business Award in 2018, and My HR Hub has received multiple award nominations UK wide.
Fast forward to May 2020, and Rebecca has developed My HR Hub into a reputable, established and award-winning UK wide HR Consultancy, working with a large range of start up’s, SME’s and fast growth businesses across over 25 industry sectors supporting small businesses from 1 man bands to over 400 employees in the UK, Europe and the US.
In 2020 the business saw further growth with the expansion of the team to a size of 7. This expansion supports the strategic direction of My HR Hub and My HR Club in supporting UK wide Organisations and offering members reduced HR services at a fraction of the cost. In September 2020, My HR Hub’s partnership with The Creative Industries Federation was announced.
Commenting on the Creative Coalition Festival and her chance to be on My HR Hub’s panel discussion Reigniting your people plans, Rebecca said: “My HR Hub is the official HR partner of The Creative Industries Federation and provides a low cost, high value HR service to its members. Our Sponsorship of this event is reflective of our support for the Creative Industries, so we are delighted to Sponsor as well be an on the panel for this event.”
Rebecca added: “The Federation’s strapline is ‘stronger together,’ and indeed we are. In these challenging times, it is crucial that offer the Creative Industry maximum support, especially around the people agenda. My HR Hub is a long-standing, active ambassador of the creative industries, with great breadth and depth of HR and business experience in the creative sector and feels HR plays a crucial role as these businesses work through the Covid-19 challenges and emerge from lockdown to thrive”.
My HR Hub’s event for the festival, Reigniting your people plans, will be delivered on Wednesday 11th November 2020 at 11:10am. Tickets are FREE and open to all.
